She was the daughter of Ray, Sr. and Dorothy Ozanich and the granddaughter of Stan and Alice Ozanich and John and Kathryn Keller. Sandy attended St. Ann's parochial school, St. Leo's High School, and was a graduate of Bellarmine Prep, Class of 1976. She started her working career at McDonald's (72nd and Pacific), and quickly advanced to management status. During this time, she fell in love with Rick Demere, and they were married on June 14, 1980. Together they had two children, Erin and Matthew. Sandy was a strong, committed employee throughout her working career, mainly with Equifax/ RMA/NCO. Again, she advanced to management status for many years. "Family" was top priority to Sandy. Her home provided many wonderful summertime pool parties and holiday dinners which now are cherished memories. She was generous, strong, and a truly determined lady. She was known as "Sarge" and/or "Lucky" by all who knew her. Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy, and her grandparents. She is survived by her loving husband Rick, devoted children Erin and Matt, and the "light of her life," granddaughter Kylie. She also leaves her brother, Ray, Jr. (Barb), her sister Cindy (Jeff)EBohren, and her father Ray Sr. (Patty), a step-son, Kelly (Becky), and their two children, Patrick and William. Together they chaired many events and were active in the Social Action Committee. They also served on many committees at All Saints School where their children attended. Sandy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Martin of Tours in Fife, 2303 54th Ave E., Fife, WA 98424.
