Obituary of Philip C. Larvie

Philip C. Larvie age 60, was born June 12,1949 and passed away February 7, 2010. Phil was born in South Dakota and raised on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations-he was Oglala Sioux. He lived in WA for the last 29 years and was a functional test mechanic at Boeing for the last 21 years. He was proud of being a shop steward. Phil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Kathryn, his daughters Philana, Starlight and Michele, grandchildren Kateria, Anthony, Rain, Raul, Shelby and Michael, great grandchildren Alex and Anthony II. He is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law, Freda, his brothers Dave, Sylvester, Vern, Leo and sister Lucy. He also has many nieces and nephews. Phil always had a big smile, a great sense of humor and a kind word for everyone. He was a big man with a big heart. He will be greatly missed. A service in his honor will be held on February 12, 2010 at Chief Leschi Schools, 5625 52nd St. E. Puyallup, WA 98371 at 12:30 P.M. Viewing will be 11:30-12:30.
