Obituary of Joseph Henry Glide

Joseph Henry Glide III was born in Sacramento, California on February 22, 1932. He was 80 years old when he went to be with the lord on May 26, 2012 in Gig Harbor, Washington . He was a medic in the US Navy for 4 years and after that he did alot of different things such as raising sheep, manage restaurants, carpentry, mill & lumber work (which included work on the State Capitol of California). He went to college and studied in animal husbandry. He was a proud member of the Oregon grange for about 15 years, and was titled Master of the Grange (the highest rank)! He had a love for horses and his precious Schipperke dogs- Toto Bear, Skipper, & Teddy. Things we will miss about him...his wonderful cooking, bright smile, sense of humor, hugs, and stories. He is survived by his wife Retta, his children and many other extended family members. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
