Nancy, Nikki, Jessie & Monica, We are so sorry about the passing of David. He was such a kind person always willing to help anyone and everyone out in their time of need. Kris and I will never forget the time when I was driving our Bronco and it blew its engine as I on my way to work. I made it off the freeway and had to call Nancy to ask her if she could come and get me. She laughed...and came and picked me up. Next thing I know....she said David would come and tow the truck to wherever we needed it to go. So Kris and David hauled the Bronco to the Roy Y for a new engine. David always helped without pause. I remember when we used to go to parties over at the Clark's house. We really used to have a lot of fun with them. It had been a long time since I had talked with David and Nancy...so I was shocked to hear about David's passing. Our deepest condolences goes to the family.

In David's passing I am reminded of a wonderful person who was a great friend to me. A person who was generous and kind and who could make anything and fix anything. His generosity is exemplified in so many ways. David was the building facility manager when he and Nancy met. I think that Nancy's apartment had an electric fault (or it might have been plumbing) and David showed up at the unit, made the repair and a lifelong partnership with Nancy in the process. In David's passing I am struck by how important it is to have friends and spend time socializing because the world is a difficult place made more tolerable by opening up to and spending time with good people and developing lasting memories of good times. For me, Davis is a person that I am proud to say he was my friend and he still is my friend and I will always remember the good times we had. It's with a heavy heart and deepest condolences that I say goodbye to David. God bless him.

It is hard to believe that Davey is no longer hear with us. I remember us all going to Jim Parker's parents place on Moses Lake years ago and water skiing for hours on end - I sat in the boat. Afterwards, we'd stay up until 4:00am playing the guitar and singing on the deck with a few beverages to help with the lyrics :-) You will be greatly missed Davey.

Dave and I met in our early teens in Pop Warner football. As we were similar in size and ability we spent many summer and fall afternoons drilling against each other. We fast became friends. During this time my family was experiencing a lot of issues and I found myself spending more and more time with not only Dave, but his parents John and Pat. Not only did I enjoy David's friendship but also the structure and family values that his parents fostered. Dave and I grew from boys to men together with a group of characters that included Glenn, Keith, Dale, Mark, Kenny, and Mickey. Our journey led us to a lot of 'firsts'. Some I'll mention, some I won't. They included: Sailboat to Catalina Island, whale/sea lion encounter, drivers license, car, law enforcement encounter, ticket, 1st and last hell week, girlfriend, poker game, road trip (Phoenix), concert, house, visit to Yosemite, move out of home town, and many other 'firsts'. We shared a journey that I'll never forget and will be forever grateful. I love you and miss you buddy. Pottsy

Dear Nancy and girls, Flyer and I send our hugs and kisses your way! No one can stand to loose someone so quickly, but he has several Gordon's that were waiting over the rainbow bridge for him so that they had someone to kiss!!! Soon you will meet again, but till then just think of all the times he had a positive and loving affect on someone! Love, Sarah and Flyer

Dave was my best friend growing up. Kick the can & backyard sleep overs were the order of the day. We would build go-carts every summer and crash them by the next day. No problem...we just steal some better wheels from Mr. Clark if they were not bolted on real good. We sailed around Catalina Island with Don Potts and dove for abalone one summer. Learned how to cook them..fast. Man did they taste good. But most of all I will always remember the tree house Dave and I built in his backyard & would work on constantly for what seemed like years. We would steal wood from every construction site we could find. (they put fences around them now). We would sit up there for hours with no care in the world. We learned to ride bikes, play baseball, and water ski together. When I think of the best times of my life, I think of the growing up in the old neighborhood and my best buddy right there by my side. We crashed bikes and motorized skateboards together....without helmets. we spilled blood together and I got to watch you smack your front tooth out on the monkey bars. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't tell my 15 year old son at least one story that involves one of our adventures together. I will continue to tell the stories and will remember you forever my buddy. I love you and will miss you. Take care my friend.

We will always remember those card games at David and Nancy's house, what fun times we had. David was always ready for a good time, and made everyone feel welcome. We know there is a special place in heaven for him to keep an eye on all of us.

I remember the first time i met Dave, it was a couple of years ago at work, I was asked if i needed some help and said yes, then found out if i wanted him that he would be working for me perminantly, wow what a score i made, he turned out to be my best worker and the fastest learner i had trained for the job. Dave was well liked by everyone that met him at Meridian Yachts. I will miss you my FRIEND, Rest in peace. Dana

I heard a saying recently that is so very true; 'Death brings a heartache that no one can heal, but memories bring peace that no one can steal.' My prayers are with you, Nancy, and your family, in this hardest of times.
