Patti was raised mainly in the North Tacoma Proctor district. She attended Washington Elementary, Mason Jr. High, and Wilson High School. Patti and Gary got married and raised their three sons’ together. Patti liked to go camping with family and friends, go for rides, read, knit, cook, and shop. She loved to go on trips to Canada, Massachusetts, Oregon, and California. She loved to go to Disneyland and would go on trips with her husband and their children and grandchildren. Grandma Patti “Namo” lived her life loving and caring for her family. Her life was an example of unconditional love. Nothing could brighten her day more than being with her great granddaughter “Sam”, sitting beside her hugging her and kissing her and telling Namo “I love you”. We will never forget the gleam and brightness in Namos eyes and the big smile that appeared whenever she visited. Her place of worship was St. Patrick’s and Holy Cross. We would like to express our gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to J’Nene McCann and Linda Knudson for their loving care, help, and support to Patti and her family. Also to Franciscan Hospice and all of our family and friends who brightened her day with their visits. Special appreciation and gratitude to Linda Bell and Susan MacAbee. They spent many hours visiting Patti, helping with care giving and supplying moral support and comforting her. They made sure someone was always by her side 24/7 so she was never alone. Special recognition and gratitude to Paulia Gima who also contributed considerable time at Pattis bedside vigil. Giving so much of her and her family’s time. Thank you for spending all those hours visiting Namo and helping assist in fulfilling Namos everyday needs. On December 5th there will be a celebration of Pattis life between 12pm and 4pm at Pt.
