Obituary of David William Nolte

In the early morning hours of August 5th, David departed this earthly realm in pursuit of his heavenly destination. He was 59. David was born in Tacoma, WA on June 6, 1952 to parents John and Doris Nolte. He was the third of four children; following his older brothers Walter and Paul but preceding his baby sister Janet Marie. David attended St Ann’s and Bellarmine then he went on to community college. Shortly after college, he embarked on a fanciful two year journey of surfing the coast and skiing the Sierra Nevadas. His love of adventure and sports would always be a passion. He met his wife Gayle Ann in 1976 in Tacoma, fell in love, married, and remained happily married for 33 years. David began a Building/Development business in 1985 and had an amazing adventure even in his work. Life was always an amazing adventure with David. He has two beautiful and adoring daughters, Tabatha and Alexis plus a wonderful son-in-law Todd Farrington. His two precious grandchildren, Julia and Madeline were the apple of his eye. David will always be remembered for his love of life and how he made each of us feel loved and special. He loved the Lord and was grateful for his gift of life, health, friends, and family.
