Obituary of James Stanley Rogalski

Born May 15, 1933 in Chicago, IL, lost his year-long battle with cancer on February 25, 2012. He was a graduate of Carl Shruz High School in Chicago, IL. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Knapp's Business College. He retired from Super-Valu after 33 years of service. He was a sports enthusiast, and his favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He shared his admiration by coaching Little League Baseball for the NEAA, and West End Boys Club. He was a devoted husband and father, and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife Pauline Rogalski, and children James S. Rogalski, Jr. (wife Lori), Michael Rogalski, Steven Rogalski, Teri Rogalski, and David Rogalski (partner Dennis Rosell), grandchildren Chrystal Callan, Chad Chalfant, James S. Rogalski III, Jeanie Rogalski, and Sarah Rogalski, great-grandchildren Janelle Callan, and Cody Rogalski, and brother Charles Rogalski. Our family would like to thank all of the kind caregivers of Franciscan Hospice Services. A private celebration of his life will be held at the family home on March 4th, 2012. He will always be in our hearts and be with us.
