I know it's hard to accept the passing of your mother. We sympathize with you and know with you that she is where she wanted to be. May you know the comfort of knowing God is right there with each of you. Al

We prayed for Lillian and your family the past few weeks and want to extend our sincere condolences at this time. We remember Lillian very well during the time she attended our church, Trinity Reformed Baptist Church in Kirkland. There was a special connection through the contact Chris and Erik had with Phil at SCS, but what we really remember was her love for Christ and God's Word. She came with one of our families--every Sunday to hear the Word preached. What a precious saint. Psalm 116:15

Mrs. Dyck was a wonderful, godly example of what a mother/grandmother should be. I always enjoyed talking with her, and listening to her stories, as well as learning to make tea well. I looked upon her as my own relative, rather than just by in-law. She was a wise woman indeed! Prov. 31:29 ' Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.'

Tea and scones, great stories, 'Timothy' and 'Philip' causing her trouble she did not deserve but wouldn't have been happy without, that fantastic voice, her love for her family, her smile. I have many memories of your Mom. She was on of those truly special women and one of my favorite people. I look forward to seeing her again.

But we would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).

I have many fond memories of Lilian. I do remember how she could tell a good story and she did have a great sense of humor indeed! Mostly I will remember her quiet and gentle spirit. She is a wonderful example of a godly woman. 1 Pet 3:3-4 And let not your adornment be {merely} external-- braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but {let it be} the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. (NAS) Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stephen & Angie Williams

Finally managed to access this obituary after phoning USA! What a lovely obituary of a truly lovely lady. It was my priviledge to know your parents in Wales, Canada and later visit your mum in USA. I always had a warm welcome and a good laugh! May you all continue to know God's love surrounding you to an even greater depth than that of your parents love for you! Thanks for making this obituary available for me to see online. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
