Obituary of Robert George Boberg

Robert (Bob) Boberg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 15th, 2009. Born in Livingston Montana June 6th, 1932 to Archibald and Mary Boberg. Bob attended school in Great Falls, Montana. From there he proudly joined the United States Air Force to serve his country. After his discharge from the Air Force, Bob worked for McDonald Douglas in California. In 1961 Bob met Sharon Gilbert, his loving wife of 48 years. Bob was then employed by Tacoma Boat for a number of years before enjoying semi-retirement as a property manager in the Tacoma area. Bob is survived by his loving wife Sharon. 2 daughters, Brenda Welsh of Snohomish, Debbie Hoskins of Roy, and his son Roy Boberg of Puyallup, and sister Donna May of Ohio Along with 4 grandchildren. Jeanna Custer, Jerry Custer, Jeremy Boberg, and Cheyanne Hoskins. And many friends along with extended family members. Bob will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, and the practical jokes. He also had a great love and appreciation of nature, and wildlife. He also had a passion for collecting various items. Often at the dismay of his family. Bob will be deeply missed by all. Services will be at Tahoma National Cemetary in Covington, WA on Monday November 2nd at 1 PM. Memorials can be made to The Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
