Obituary of Gloria June Smith

Born 4/22/1926 in Puyallup, WA and passed away 12/20/2008 in Tacoma, WA with her family by her side. Gloria worked for nearly 50 years as a bank teller; starting with Citizens State Bank and retiring with Bank of America. She met her husband Wayne at a dance where he was playing in the band. Throughout their marriage they loved to dance. They had many wonderful close friends. She was very family oriented, giving, and thoughtful. Gloria had an angelic smile that never left her. She touched a lot of hearts and will be missed by many. Gloria is survived by her son, Barry (Letha) Smith; daughter, Debbie (Walt) Patterson; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward Otto. Preceded in death by brother Lawrence Otto and husband Wayne Smith. A viewing will begin 11AM followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon, Saturday 12/27 at the LDS Church, 1015 13th St. SW, Puyallup, WA. Interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.
