When I read that Gordon had a cat, it made me think about the last time I saw him and I shared this memory with him. I have always loved cats and have never been without one. I got my first cat from Gordon. I was two years old, Gordon was twelve. There was a knock at the door and Gordon was standing there with this little striped kitten. He found it and wondered if we wanted it. I begged my mom and she said OK. I may have only been two years old, but I have such a vivid memory of that day because it meant so much to me. I named the kitten Puffy. I have 8 mm movies of Puffy dressed in doll clothes and me pushing him around the yard in a baby buggy. He was such a good cat and I loved him so much. I was able to thank Gordon, all those years later, for the gift he gave me that day. Although he didn't remember it, he was happy to find out that he was the one who gave me my first cat. The Fay family was such a huge part of my childhood. The Fays were neighbors in the truest sense of the word. I hope you all know how much you mean to me and I am so sorry for your loss.
