Obituary of Leroy Givins

Leroy Givins Jr. was born on March 18, 1956; to the late Leroy Givins Sr. and the late Alexa Givins. Leroy was born in New Orleans, LA. Leroy attended Carver Sr. High, during that time Leroy made a choice to drop out of school to help his mother take care of his other siblings due to her illness. While in high Leroy met and dated Valerie Jackson. . Leroy and Valerie lived in New Orleans, LA. During that time they were blessed to conceive their first child Elicia and 5 years later their son Leroy Jr. In 1988 the Givins family decided to move to the state of Washington. Soon after the move to Washington they we blessed with their youngest son Keith. Leroy and Valerie were married on February 29, 1992. Leroy loved to have a good time with his family and Friends. He loved helping people and talking to older people. On the evening of January 22, 2012 Leroy was called to glory. He leaves to cherish his memories, Wife Valerie Jackson-Givins; Daughter: Elicia Jackson; Sons: Leroy Jackson and Keith Jackson; Grandchildren: Treyvon Leroy Jackson, Emmanuel Jackson, Matai Jackson and Candace Jackson. He also leave behind his Siblings; Jean Allen from; Augusta, SC, Jerry Givins, Tyrone Givins , Fabvola Givins, Angela Givins, Tina Givins, Shekita Givins, and Lesia Givins, all from New Orleans, Maurice Givins and Samantha Givins from Lafayette, LA his Mother-in-law Octavia Jackson and his Aunt Caroline. Proceeded by death Parents Leroy Givins Sr. and Alexa Givins; his younger brother Eugene; Leroy also leave a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws, family and friends.
