Obituary of Shelia Marie Collins

Our Mom passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 4, 2007. She is survived by three sons Brian, John and James and four grandchildren Hannah, Henry, Sophie, and William. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim five brothers Bobby, Dick, Billy, Borden, and Cleve and her parents Herb and Laura. Sheila was born in Squamish BC, Canada and met our father while serving in the Canadian Forces. They traveled to many parts of the world as an Air Force family before settling in the Lakewood area in 1965. She was a woman of many interests and hobbies including reading, knitting, needlepoint, cooking, crossword puzzles, and gardening. Sheila loved to have a cold one at the local pub and made many good friends there. She won numerous trophies playing darts and billiards and asked us to tell her friends to “Rack-em up for me”. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her. Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, 6/13/07 at Lakeview Congregational Chapel, 4606 108th St., SW, Lakewood, WA.
