Obituary of Jordan Tavis Hulsing

“CHECK ME OUT SON!” Jordan Tavis Hulsing was a great, charismatic, handsome young man who loved his family very much, and had a very big heart. His whole world surrounded his son, Hunter Jordan Hulsing. When Hunter was born, Jordan’s heart was immediately filled to the top with love for his son. Jordan would do anything to spare Hunter an ounce of hurt or pain, and to make his life as perfect as a child could dream. There was never a day that Hunter could doubt how entirely his father loved him. The other major love of his life was his adoring fiancée Lindsay. They had an unconditional love, and even though they never got the chance to wed, in their hearts they were already forever bound to each other. Their love was nothing you could mistake for anything but pure. His love for his son and fiancée was followed by the love of his family, including his father David, his mother Joni, his brother and best friend Clint, his two sisters Brittani and Kelci, his nieces Kayla, Payton, and Avery, and his one nephew Parker. Jordan was born on a beautiful sunny morning in Eatonville Washington on July 12, 1980. He was the most adorable little boy. His whole childhood, people would question if he was a boy or girl. Jordan would have to say, “Me boy.” Throughout his life he had many nicknames, some include Pooh-baby, Doodler, Buddy Boy, Jordy Boy, Birfday Boy, JT, Chip, Jordy, and Zodi. Jordan loved his family so much he would drop everything just to spend the day with them. He never missed an opportunity to spend the day taking his family out on his boat, and always went really fast... he loved going fast with just about everything. He lived each day like it was his last. He didn’t just sit back and watch life happen, he grabbed it by the reins and shaped it to perfection. Whether he was helping someone, hanging out with his family, serving Jehovah, or out being active, he lived for the moment. Most men spend their lives looking back and wishing they would have more, but not Jordan. Jordan spent his life living and loving with the utmost conviction. He could never just sit and relax, his idea of fun was riding dirt bikes, boating, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and canoeing. Always generous, Jordan was a willing volunteer who would help anyone needing it. He recently helped in a Kingdom Hall remodel where he was the hardest worker removing old insulation. He may have been the muddiest, but it shows how hard he was working. Everyone that knew him loved Jordan; he was the glue that bound everyone together. His partner in crime was his older brother Clint. They not only had the pleasure of being brothers, but being coworkers and best friends. They shared a bond that most brothers dream of. These two were so inseparable they even lived right next door to each other for six years. Competition was their nature, but love was their fuel. To put it simply, Jordan Tavis Hulsing was vivacious, handsome, fun loving, hard working, super-dad, gentle, jokester, lovable, confident, generous, compassionate, and unfortunately bigger than life. We will always keep his memory alive until the day we are together again. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” –Revelations 21:4
