I was shocked when I received notice from AXA about Mark. I used to work with Olivia for many years in the veterinary hospital and then Mark started handling my life insurance. Even though I have not seen or contacted either Mark or Olivia in many years, I think of them often because they made such a wonderful impression on me, their love & happiness. I am so sorry for the loss of Mark but honored that I did know him. Darlene Diehl

Mark was my friend in high school. He was a kindhearted and thoughtful person who we all knew as 'Cowboy'. I'm sad to hear about his death and will pray for the comfort of his family and friends.

Mark and I have shared a membership in Calvary Lutheran Church for a number of years. He and I had many good talks, and I came to treasure his presence among us and his friendship. I will miss him, and miss those contacts. Mark had a way of really 'seeing' you when you spoke to him, you felt you had his undivided attention--a rare gift and one that matters. Go in peace, my friend.

Doug, Olivia, Judy and Avery, My family sends their condolences. Our parents were friends and we grew up seeing each other once or twice a year. I also have memories of two different trips we took with our families when we were young - one of them to the ocean. Later, either during or right after college, Mark and I ran into each other and met up a few times. He took me to a Bee-Gees concert (Saturday Night Fever era) and we had a great time. My heart goes out to you with your loss. May your memories of Mark bring you comfort. God bless and hold you close. - Diane (Nelson) Meister on behalf of all the Nelson's - Ernie, Mickey, Don and Darci

Aunt Olivia, Cousin Judy, and Cousin Avery...I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Mark's passing. I wish I could be at the service, at your side, or simply with the family to help celebrate his life. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you all. We will raise a glass in his honor in Hawaii this summer for certain! Please let me know if you need anything, and know that I am with you in spirit. Cousin Doug, Debbie and family It was good to talk to you, I only wish I could see you all. Happy memories and fun memories of when mom took care of Mark and you, Doug. I remember several times that Mark when he was upset at his Aunt Esther he would say 'I am going to tell dad on you.' Finally mom talked to her bro Lawrence, and told her of her concerns and he stated not to worry that when they found him one night sleepwalking he was saying, 'dad, I am going to tell Auntie Esther on you' She felt more at ease. I hope I do not have Doug and Mark mixed up. It was really great a few years ago when we had a cousin get-together at Christmas time to see Mark and share many memories at that time. Doug I need your e-mail again could you please send it to me. karen@banklock.com again all my love, Karen and Harold too

I used to work at Equitable as a telemarketer and would talk with Mark. He was always friendly, encouraging me during my working. His job was rewarding helping families be financially secure. I am sorry for his family's loss--He will be missed. Luann Winter
