Obituary of Allen Leroy Tracy

Allen was born on February 4th 1953 in Sacramento, CA. He passed away in Tacoma, WA on February 21s /2009 after a long battle with cancer . He had an interesting childhood as an "Army brat" which led him to travel across our county as well as overseas in Turkey while growing up. His high school years were spent in Tacoma where he stayed until joining the U.S. Army and returned to after his term of service. Allen went to at T.C.C., and became a roofer.He helped set the big 4th of July fireworks shows in Tacoma for several years. He eventually had a painting and pressure washing business, known as Bill's Pressure Washing. His passion was cooking for family and friends. The unique flare he had for just the right ingredients to make a meal memorable will be missed by all. He is survived by his mother Ann, sister Nancy (Sam) Wilson, niece Laura Johnson, great-nephew Ryan and numerous extended family and friends. Memorial Service to be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th Street, Kent, WA 98042. Friends and family are welcome to join together at Allen's family home after the services. Please call Edwards Memorial at 253-566-1008 for directions to the service or family home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
