Obituary of Edna Nadine Kirkes

Edna Nadine Lindley Kirkes Edna, born in Bellingham, WA on January 21, 1922, passed away on April 2, 2011. The family moved to Centralia, WA settling in Tacoma. Graduating from Lincoln High School she married Duane Kirkes and started her family. She loved family and social activities. Her golfing and bowling extended almost fifty years. She loved playing bridge and sewing, to even making her own shoes. Preceded in death by parents Helen and Clifford Lindley, sister Helen Clemmons, ex-husband Duane, daughter Claudia, and son Duane. She is survived by twin sisters Mary Grabinski and Marge Davis, children Deanna (Dave) Bosch, Duane (deceased), his wife Shayna, and Ron (Judy) Kirkes, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. We would like to express our special thanks to Living Life Care Home and Multi-Care Hospice and Dr. Smoots for giving us the much appreciated extra time with Mom. At her request there will be no services.
