David, Dianne & Randy, I am very sorry your Dad passed. As you know your Dad & Mom were the best friends, hosts, and the most fun to be with! I remember; meeting your Mom in the 1st grade; when she met your Dad; their wedding; and their 1st house next to Grandpa Otto. There wasn't anything your Dad couldn't do. I remember several of us following your Dad & Moms' boat up to the San Juan's. We partied all the way up & didn't get lost! We were confident following your Dad, we knew & trusted him as a natural leader. I remember your folks having the 1st TV in our group, we would gather at your house, line up the chairs & watch George Burns, Gracie Allen & Jack Benny! The pool christening party on Madrona Pt was a blast! Then onto Norseland, a remarkable accomplishment! Some of his accomplishments I remember is him marrying your Mom, WWII, having three beautiful children, then Norseland & Sherwood Hills. Your Dad had a great, full life. As I remember it, if there was music & a dance floor your Dad was one of the 1st ones up & dancing! I am comforted as I am sure you all are, that your Dad & Mom are together again. They were such great friends and Don, myself and Willy were honored to have known and loved them. Love to you all, Arleen Thompson Fay Irion, Cathy, Cindy & Kris

I am just writing to let all of you who have written about our dad know how much it means to all of us in the family and also to Dawn. We miss him terribly but coming to this guest book to see all of the wonderful things you have written about him always puts a smile on our faces and helps us be a little more at peace with his loss. Thank you again for all of your very special comments. Dianne, Randy and David

To David, Dianne and Randy I am so sorry about your dad. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. I have lots of great memories of when we were all growing up, at grandma & grandpa Brown's, Wildcat Lake and at your house between the 2 bays. Ken and I both send our love and prayers. Linda

Betty and I first met Omar and Shirley in the fall of 1945. Omar and I served our four-year apprenticeship together at PSNS, completing it in 1949. Following that, as our families grew, we enjoyed a few years of close friendship until we moved to Seattle in 1952. We actively renewed our friendship in 2007 when Omar contacted me when I was living on Camano Island. I am thankful that I was able to visit him in the hospital jus three days before he transitioned to his new learning experience. Omar will be well remembered by all whose life he touched. His outgoing character, friendly personality, giving nature, as well as his innovative ways of doing things, were all great assets of his, to be emulated by everyone.

Omar was a very fun and loving person. I will always remember our dances and laughs together. I know that Shirely will have the last dance as it should be hers. You will be missed by all.

Your dad was an amazing person. On Madrona Point it was like growing up with two families, yours and ours. Your mom and dad always included all of us neighbor kids as if we were part of your family. Your dad was alway engaged in some project and he was always willing to stop and explain what he was doing. I remember wondering, even as a child, how he thought of his current idea. I am remembering times gone by and thinking of you during this time of your loss. Pam
