Obituary of Tiffany Laurel Salese

Tiffany Laurel Salese came into the world on August 23, 1969 in San Francisco, CA, to her parents Nansi (Lisha) Salese and Armand Salese. Tiffany was called home to her savior on August 6, 2011 in Tacoma, WA. As a child Tiffany loved to play outside, and she was always bringing home the neighborhood stray cat or dog. Tiffany’s artistic ability was apparent from an early age. She loved to dance and would choreograph dance routines with her sister to her parent’s Saturday Night Fever album. As a freshman in high school, Tiffany was part of the concert choir. During this time, her love of dance grew, and she even coached her little sister’s cheer team. As she grew into adulthood, Tiffany become a mother. First with Sierra in 1988, then with Dakota in 1997 and then again with Viantay in 2001. Her girls brought her great joy and provided her the will and determination to better herself. In 2005 Tiffany found the Tacoma Rescue Mission. She utilized their resources and eventually became a valued member of their team. She was living proof that through hard work and determination, you change your life. She was a mentor to many women who were walking the same path she had walked. She touched many lives, and her legacy lives on. This past year, Tiffany was attending school so she could continue to work and give back to the community. She was setting a valuable example for her daughters. This year also brought love into Tiffany’s life. She was very happy. Tiffany is survived by her daughters, Sierra Salese, Dakota Salese & Viantay Salese; her parents, Lisha Salese & Armand Salese; her siblings, Natalie Gonzalez, Damian Salese, Shannon Reickert, Cory Reickert & Davina Salese. She is also survived by many family members and friends Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1211 South I Street Tacoma, WA 98405.
