Obituary of Lucille V. Jesewitz

Lucille V. Jesewitz died peacefully in the home of her daughter, Deborah on May 2, 2008 after enduring an extended period of Hospice Care for cancer and heart failure. Lucille was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Barbara and Frank Andryauskas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Stanley F. Jesewitz. Lucille and Stanley were long time residents of Lake Geneva, having moved to the south shore of Lake Como in 1968 from Gage Park, on the South side of Chicago. After moving to Lake Geneva, she devoted her life to being a loving wife, and mother but previously worked in the Chicago school system as a baker, and also had experience as a seamstress(sewing nurses uniforms), as well as a telephone operator. Lucille loved “the lake”, and children and animals. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, cooking and baking. She spent many serene hours walking the waterfront fishing, as well as walking the dogs with the neighbors. With a quick smile and twinkle in her eye she greeted each person she met with an open heart. Many people in the area will remember Stan and Lu “rummaging” and their rummage sales.
