Dear Nancy, Thank you for your contacts with me through the last five months. You deserve to know that taking on all the responsibility of your mother's care and seeing to it that she had what she needed before her death was a true act of love. She modeled kindness and generousity to those who knew her. I vividly remember how she mothered the children in the schools and also was always dedicated to those who were less fortunate. When her mother died, my dad asked me to attend the memorial. I did not remember Delores but I attended and we met and became friends at that time. I will miss her and would love to continue having a connection with you. You have powerfully taken charge of your mom's care and I certainly respect your need to rest. Please call if you need help. Our deepest sympathy, Tina and Mike

Dee was such a nice person and good friend. We had ties from Fairbanks, Ak. I always enjoyed her company. We made many a trip to Algadones (really enjoying those 'free' margaritas). She was very special. We were so sad to see her leave Yuma. She always spoke so lovinly of her daughter. I am so glad they were able to be together. Our sincerest sympathy and love go out to her family,

Nancy - words cannot express our sorrow at the passing of your Mom. We know that you and your Mom had a very special relationship and that she was a very special part of your life. Pat and I were lucky enough to have known her and to have shared in her beautiful spirit. We will always charish the memories we have of our holiday dinners cooked and shared between our famlies. Know that we are here for you and that you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you will take us up on that rain check for dinner. Your friends always, Pat and Chris Sweeney

The tribute written of your mom was a perfect description of who she was. She always made me feel loved, as if I was also her daughter. She was loving, compassionate, and lived her life with zest and deep feeling for everthing and everyone surrounding her. She was always so very proud of you, Nancy, for the woman you became, your acccomplishments and kindness to others. I will miss her and hold in my heart wonderful memories with love she extended to me. Give your dad a hug from me. Sharon Tisch Nelson

We were so blessed to have met Dolores when we moved to the neighborhood. She truly made us feel welcome and we are forever greatful for the time we had with her, her friendship, and her kindness. She was the most delightful person to know and we will never forget her wonderful spirit. She touched us in so many ways that we cannot express enough gratitude. We will always love you, Dolores. You are an Angel and we will miss you! Our prayers are with you and your family. To Nancy, you are such an inspiration...we admire you for all that you did for your mother. You were there for her every step of the way. She was truly blessed to have such a loving daughter.

Dolores was a great lady and a lot of fun to work with at Sherman Elementary. She was a great mentor and I will miss her and our annual lunch at the Spar.

The words you have written from you heart about your mother say much about the mother AND the daughter. As your tribute to your mother is, you embody so well those things instilled by her in you. We have been blessed to witness those tributes by knowing you and your mother. We will miss that wonderful smile and warm hello she gave us each time she visited you. God Bless as you journey forward. Dave and Lahna
