Obituary of Lila B Rancipher

Lila B Rancipher died April 18, 2006 surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ed Rancipher. Lila was born in Vancouver, BC on March 4, 1923 and graduated from Stadium High School. She was a member of Pleasant Forest Camping Club for many years and an active member of Grace Baptist Church. Lila is survived by her son Dave (Marshelle) Rancipher; daughter Kathy (Mel) Pick; grandchildren Tammy (Gary) Taylor; Debbie (Mark) Hernando; siblings Sylvia Freeman and Lloyd Inglis; great-grandchildren Amanda Stewart, Johnathan Rancipher, and MeKade Taylor; and several nieces and nephews and is also survived by her close and loving friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family services will be held at Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor. A Memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 2507 N. Vassault St., Tacoma, on April 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Franciscan Hospice. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff who were so wonderful to Lila and Ed.
