Obituary of Wayne Everett Smith

Born May 20th 1937 Rapid City S.D Wayne was born to Harry and Norma Smith. He is one of twelve children. Wayne is survived by his sisters Joanna Morris, Beverly Matz, Doris Sharp, Leone Sharp, Maxine Henry and Lucy Lucas. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lloyd Smith, Illo Smith, Bob Smith, Larry Smith and Charles Jordan. He is also Survived by Matilda and his son Wayne Jr. his wife Linda and two grandchildren Travis Smith and Cassandra Smith and five great grandchildren. Jayson, Kia'la, hailey, Alexis and Jazzlyn. Wayne grew up with a love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and hanging out with friends and playing billards, and dancing with Tillie. He also loved it when the grandchildren and great grandkids came to visit. Wayne was a 20 year member of the fraternal order of eagles and an active retiree of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 612. Dad will be missed greatly by family, neighbors and friends and right now is probably tinkering on a friends lawnmower with smile on his face. Dad may your journey be peaceful and your rewards great.
