Uncle Richard was the glue that held the family together and will be missed terribly. He was always there for my Mom and brother and went out of his way to make our new-found sister Melody welcome. The work he did on the geneology of the Family was above and beyond. I hope it doesn't all fall through the cracks now that he's gone, I hope I don't lose contact with the family now that he's gone.

We were so sad to hear the news. Richard was a favorite uncle, and I cherish the times I was able to spend with him at the family reunions. My prayers are with his entire family during this tough time in their lives.

Uncle Richard will be missed. Our sympathies go out to family and friends. He was such a people person and so upbeat! As a child I was convinced he worked on flying saucers at Boeing. I teased him about it. I asked him once what he did when he discovered information for the family geneology that was a little bad. He replied that he just glossed over it and put things in the best light possible. I think that is how he viewed everyone he ever met, in the best light possible! He will be missed.
