Obituary of Clyde Gene Brown

Clyde Gene Brown AKA (C G), a loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born on March 23, 1942 in Newellton, Louisiana, to Jesse Gulledge Jr. and Lillie Mae (Brown) Pittman. On Saturday, March 11, 2009 God saw fit to carry his son home to rest. C.G., was the loving husband of Ira Perry-Brown. Father to LeSa DeBora Gilbert, Tacoma, WA. His Friend and ex spouse, Bernadine (Lewis) Brown. Step children, Wesley Radford (Kim) both of Chicago, IL .Bennie Radford (Phyllis) both of Puallup, WA. Anita Berry (Roger) Federal Way, WA., Dino Radford, Vaughn Radford and Carolyn Perry-McGhee in Tacoma, WA. C.G. leaves behind to cherish his memory grandchildren Timisha Cherral Gilbert, Shanice Marie Hooker and a host of grand and great grand children. C G was preceded in death by daughter, Regina Marie Brown. Brothers, Ronald Joe Gulledge, Wayne Kevin Gulledge, James Darnell Gulledge and sister, Gwendolyn Wade. He leaves to cherish his memory, his second mother Ruby Gulledge, brothers, Delwin James Pittman, Jessie Gulledge III, and Gregory Steven Gulledge. Sisters, Mary Jean Foster, Phyllis Hawkins, Sandra Rankins. CG served in the US Army for 22 years receiving numerous medals and awards including the Purple Heart. He also retired from the Washington State Department of Corrections. His greatest past time was hanging out with his “Road Dog” J.J. Flowers Bearers Friends of the Family POEM God saw you were tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arm around you, and whispered “Come With Me” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away Though we will miss you and love you dearly We couldn’t keep you here A kind and gentle heart stopped beating God we know you only take the BEST!!!!!!
