Obituary of Albert Andrew Grosklaus

Born 5/4/1928 and passed away 11/28/2007 at home in Tacoma, WA surrounded by his loving family. Al served 26 years in the US Armed Forces, retiring in 1974. He served in the Pacific Theatre, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Germany where he met and married Amalia. He settled in Tacoma, WA in Oct. 1974 where he became a highly respected member of the community. Preceded in death by his son James A. Grosklaus in 1993. Al is survived by his loving wife Amalia of 53 years; 2 sons, Richard (Leslie), Albert (Teressa); daughter, Amalia Grosklaus; 2 grand-daughters, Monique (Thomas) Geiger, Jeanette (Jonathan) Lee; grandson, James Grosklaus; 4 great-grandsons, Jason Lee, Elisha, Ashton and Theron Geiger. Memorial service to be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, 12/5/2007 at Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St. SW, Lakewood, WA. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Anderson, Dr. Reed, Dr. Brown, and Dr. Christine Wills at Madigan AMC, Franciscan Hospice, and all our friends who stood by our family these past few years.
