Obituary of Jean Patricia Kaufman

Jean Patricia Kaufman, at age 71, born February 25, 1944 in Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully with family beside her on April 13, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Jean was survived by her brother, Donald Holben, and her daughters, Jeanette P. Harem (Dennis, Joshua, Meghan, and Adelina), Karenann Sandleitner, Bobbi Jean Bauer (Marsha, John [Danielle, Tyler, Patrick, Kevin, Ian, Ashlyn, Gabriel, Caleb], Darin [Christina and Mason], Tiffany [Brandon, Noah, Nicole and Brayden], Nichole [Emma and Samantha]), Jackie R. Zimmermann (Mike, Brandon [Aspen] and Blake), Robin R. Wasley (Christel [Dustin, Lyabella, Luke and Lydia], Jordon [Jaye, Logan, Shaya and Elijah]), and Melody Wasley (Larry, Daniel [Katy and Arianna] and Jacob). Preceded in death by her parents, Nevada and Raymond Holben, her siblings, Roy Holben, Darwin Holben, Shirley Reith and Barbara Bixler. Jean spent her youth in Pennsylvania, and during her travels ran a hotel/restaurant business for her parents in Holbrook, AZ, and eventually made her way to Washington State. Jean resided in Tacoma, Washington for the past several years. Jean was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend, and enjoyed gardening, roses, baking, family gatherings and was an amazing homemaker. In Jean’s words, “my best accomplishments in life are my daughters.”
