Arline and family, I was sorry to see y ou had lost Larry--or perhaps it is better to say that you laid up another treasure in heaven. It sounds like he did such great work and I guess you and Emil brought him up right. But no comforts or platitudes can change the fact that it HURTS and I'm so sorry. Love, Loraine Burdick

I don't know if you will remember me but Larry hired me in Vancouver shortly before he went to the School for the Deaf and Blind. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I will always be grateful for the opportunity that he gave me in Personnel to begin my professional career. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Dear Nadine and Family, My deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband, Larry. I lost my husband a short while ago, and understand what you are (and will) go though. God bless on thirty five years together. I'll make a donation to Franciscan Hospice. They are a wonderful resource. Again, my heartfelt condolences. Judy Yeatman

I was so sorry to see Larry's obituary in the paper. I remember him fondly from when we worked together. I was in the AG's Office then and handled Pesonnel issues for DSHA as well as the State Schools for the Deaf and Blind. My condolences to the family. David Minikel

Sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I was his harshest critic when I first met him, but after learning some of what he did and knew, I did begin to like him. To his credit, he was always a gentleman. Unfortunately, he was the most misunderstood man I ever met. May he rest in peace.

I have such pleasuant memeories growing up with Larry in our adolescent years. Fishing and hunting and playing cars together and eating Arlene's pies and going to church together. I enjoyed Arlene and Larry visit to my house in the last couple months. I drove by to return the visit and no one was home. I plan to visit Arlene and Larry's wife in the near future. I can't beleive he's gone. Love, Pete & Patricia Van Lierop
