Mom was an awesome mother! She did such a wonderful job on raising her 3 daughters. She was a fighter! According to her doctor she was his 'miracle patient' I know mom's health was declining over the past few months, but she always bounced back. I know she is in heaven with our Heavenly Father, her dad and her sister Joyce. Thank you for everyones love and support during our time of loss. Thanks for everyone that helped to pull everything together for the funeral. It was very much appreciated during that very stressful time. She is no longer struggling for a breath but she is in peace. She will be greatly missed...and be in our hearts forever and always remembered....... Tom,Inez,Emily, and Austin Berner

My thoughts and prayers are with the family in mourning the loss of Kaye. Having known and worked with her at McChord AFB for close to 30 years, I remember her as a hard working employee with a positive attitude and a friendly personality. She will be truly missed.

What a great pleasure it was to know and work with Kaye all these years. She loved her job, and always could be depended on to do it in a professional manner. I always said if the sun came up I knew Kaye would be on the job. One of my fondest memories was on the day we both retired and her family surprised her with a great luncheon. They included me, and the look on Kaye's face as a limo drove on to the flightline to pick her up was priceless. Though we will all miss her, we will have great memories of our friendship with her.

Wasn't she a grand lady!! Such delicate features, with her little pixie nose and Her beautiful hands. She looked like a porcelin doll. She worked like crazy and pinched pennies to provide for her family. She did a wonderful job of raising her daughters (if I do say so myself) Even though we knew it was coming, we still were not prepared for Mom's journey to heaven. The love and support from family and friends make it more bearable each day - Thank you from the bottom of my heart Love Juaneta and family
