Obituary of Janice Ruth Stevens

Janice was born in Tacoma General Hospital to Marcus and Evelyn Holt, on Sept 15th 1941. She graduated Clover Park High school in 1959, and worked as a telephone switchboard operator, before moving on to banking, finally reaching the post of bank officer at North Pacific Bank. As a military spouse, she resided in several places, including Germany, and spent the last ten years of her retirement in Goldendale, Washington. She was highly creative, with exceptional artistic skills,and enjoyed crocheting, painting, gardening, and rebuilding antique cuckoo clocks. Jan was wed to Sherrill Stevens from 11/03/60, till his death in 2010, and is survived by her two children, Mary Stevens of Randle Wa,and Marcus Stevens of Tacoma Wa. Services to be held on Sunday Dec 11th at 2:00pm, in the "Friendship Room" at the Lake City Community Church, 8810 Lawndale Ave SW, Lakewood, WA 98498. Service to be followed by a reception.
