Obituary of William Michael Hughes

Born 3/6/1955 in Seattle, WA and passed away 8/29/2009 in Auburn, WA. Bill grew up in the East Seattle area and served in the US Navy. He spent many years in the automotive sales industry in various positions starting with the family owned business Bob Hughes Chevrolet in Burien, WA and later as a GM for several dealers in the Northwest. Over the past ten years, Bill was semi-retired; still working within the auto sales industry as a wholesaler. Bill enjoyed boating, skiing, hunting, riding his Harley, gardening but most of all, he loved his family. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. William is survived by his wife Lesley Hughes; son, Tash J. Hughes; 2 daughters, Merianne (John) Rowland; Ashley Hughes; brother, Mark Hughes; step-daughter, Seagra Carkonen; 4 grandchildren, George, Courtney, William, & Christian Hughes. Service to be held 11AM Saturday, 9/5 at Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St. SW, Lakewood, WA. Viewing 1 hour prior to service. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
