Obituary of Carol Diane Henderson

Carol died peacefully at the Franciscan Hospice House after a courageous battle against cancer and was surrounded by family and close friends. Carol was born in Aberdeen, Washington to Joyce and Willard Mowitch on April 19, 1951. Carol grew up in various cities in Washington. She had a distinguished and enjoyable career as a Certified Nurses Aid and Housekeeper. Carol cherished all the Elders that she cared for. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Carol is survived by her daughter (Fancy Smith) son (Anthony Henderson), grandchildren, (Malinda Lorton, Carrie and Kelli Easley, Courtney Smith) (Chayton ,Dominic and Alessandra Henderson) great-grandchild, Adriana Feliz Lorton-Diaz, Mother (Joyce Watson) Brother (Gary Mowitch) and Sister (Sandra Miranda) and many other dear friends and family members. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Batson of the Puyallup Tribal Health Center and Multi-care Oncology clinic as well as the Franciscan Hospice House for the extraordinary care given to Carol. Carol will be honored in a private family ceremony. Donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Franciscan Hospice House.
