Obituary of Sandralee Ava Kenfield

Sandralee (Sandi) Kenfield was born June 24, 1951 in Seattle, WA and passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2010. She was preceded in death in 2008 by her best friend and husband of nearly 39 years, Dennis. She is survived by her daughters, Denise and Danessa, brothers-in-law Gary, and Earl (Diane), sister Jodi Blake, sister-in-law Stella Zitkovich, many nieces and nephews, and extended friends and family. She was excitedly awaiting the birth of her first grandchild, due April 18, 2010. As well as being a wife and mother, Sandi was a “teacher” and friend to any and all. She welcomed each friend of her daughters into her home as her own child, and is fondly remembered by all. She had an amazing laugh that sounded like she was keeping a fantastic secret from everybody else. Sandi could have written a book on how to truly love someone, her relationship with Dennis was a testament to what love truly could be, and how to embody love every day. We would like to recognize some special people in Sandi’s life including (but not limited to!) Lori Berrett, Alicia, Lance, Mason, and Makenna Shippy, Krista Wooten, Jim Hammon, Erin Larsen and Trina Jose. Without their love and support, Sandi’s family would not have been able to make it through this time of sorrow. “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” - Eskimo Proverb The stars got a little bit brighter this week.
