Obituary of Philip Eugene Oliver

Philip Eugene Oliver, resident of Priest River, Idaho died November 15th 2011 at the age of 72. Mr. Oliver passed peacefully in Tacoma, WA surrounded by his family. Mr. Oliver, born in Newport, WA in 1939, had strong ties to many communities between Western Washington and Idaho, having owned a number of car dealerships over the years. His other accomplishments included his commercially rated Pilots License; a successful Spokane based advertising agency, and numerous other entrepreneurial pursuits. Mr. Oliver’s strongest ties however, were to the bordering communities of Eastern WA and Idaho, were he spent his childhood. He particularly loved the Priest River, Bonner County area were he eventually retired. Mr. Oliver is survived by his two sons, Shannon Oliver and Darrick Oliver, his sons’ mother Janine Little, daughter-in-law Jill Michaels, and cousin Jimmy Pagnotta and wife Sheri. Private services to be held for family and close friends.
