Obituary of Ilse Edith Phillips

Ilse Edith Phillips, 75, of Tacoma, WA, went to be with the Lord December 12, 2011. She was born January 8, 1936, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Maria and Heinrich Reising. Ilse was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Phillips (2010) and her son Roland G. Phillips (2005). She is survived by her daughter Brigitte, son Matthias, and son-in-law Mark; five grandchildren Harold, Terry, Melisa, Michael, and Roland; and five great-grandchildren Davia, Lexie, Mishayla, Robert, and D’Nayja. Ilse and Donald were married in Germany, and moved to Texas in 1961. They moved to Tacoma in 1968. Ilse worked as a beautician in Olympia, Fircrest, and Tacoma. A life celebration for Ilse will be held at 1:00 pm on January 21, 2012, at Gateway Church, 7310 12th Avenue East, Tacoma, WA.
