Obituary of Sean Terry Flynn

Born November 18th 1961 in Mishawaka Indiana went to be with Jesus on March 25th 2009. Sean grew up in Elkhart Indiana. He had a kind and sincere heart. Even as a child He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone. At age eighteen he joined the united states army and served for twenty years traveling all over the world to places like the middle east, Germany and Korea. In 1994 he was stationed at fort Lewis and continued to live in Washington state after retiring from the military in 2000. Sean always wanted the best for everyone, He always put everyone else’s needs above his own. he was loving, honest and devoted. He loved his family very much. Every time he spoke about his sons it was obvious how proud he was of each one of them, he was always there to guide and support them. Sean always had a positive approach to life. His charismatic nature created many lasting relationships. If there’s anything that someone that never got the chance to get to know Sean should know it’s that he was truly the sweetest man, he genuinely cared about people and how they really felt. He really wanted everyone to be happy and always tried to find something he could help with to make that happen. Even with his diagnosis he lived with courage and a positive attitude. Sean enjoyed collecting marvel and sports memorabilia. his favorite marvel character was “the hulk”. You know this because walking into his home you could see the green in every room. Another thing he spoke about often were the fond memories he had of fishing with his dad. Sean is survived by his wife, Natalie, his sons, Matthew, Daniel and Joshua, and step-children, Cody durrett (husband Robert) and Kyle Kenfield, residing in Washington. He is also survived by his grandmother, Enid Thompson, mother, Dixie Flynn, four sisters, one brother, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, residing in indiana.
