Miss you cousin :( Will never forget the good family times we shared over the years!! Like your mom said... you were a gentle giant/big teddy bear... I will always miss your overwhelmingly protective nature for your family... but know someday I will see you again! Excited that Courtney and the kids will be closer so our kids can continue to grow up knowing each other <3 love you!!

Daniel was a great son, father, husband, brother and friend. He had a big heart and like his brother, David was a big teddy bear. This is hard for me to write at this time but in the future I might be able to write more about my baby.

We first met Dan and Courtney playing softball in the San Clemente leagues. I felt an instant friendship with them both, and although work separated us in distance they have always been in our hearts. Jenna and our daughter both share a birthday and I always longed to get us all together again. Dan served his country with honor in places few dare to go. I honor his service, and all of our loss. Love to the family with our deepest sympathies.

Dan, You were such an amazing person inside and out. You were an awesome father and husband and a role model to all of us. Your faith was strong and inspiring. I remember some great poker parties with you, Courtney, and Dave. You always made us laugh with your incredible sense of humor. Thank you for your friendship, kindness, and laughter.

Although he didn't always look it, Dan was a big teddy bear with a heart of gold, knowing Dan for 15 years, I watched him work hard, party hard, fall in love, get married to his sweetheart Courtney, help paint their first place (polar bear white, lol), play softball , and have 2 beautiful children. Dan's huge smile and kind soul will remain in my memories forever, you will be missed my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss To The Hagee Family. I pray for your family. I work at Elite. I loved when Dan posted pictures on our Elite facebook page of him at Disneyland. I loved when his Mom came to buy a gift for her sons. The love of this family they shared was a treasure in my eyes. To The Hagee Family you are in my prayers. May God wrap his loving arms around all of your hearts.

In high school, Dan was just Dave's little brother. I got the pleasure of knowing Dan in the following years. My fondest memories are playing tennis with him. Neither of us were very good. It was more about hanging out and having a good time. He was a great person and a kind soul.

I have so many memories of my brother Dan. I met him when I was 17 years of age. We have partied together, fought together, laughed together, cried together, played sports together, worked together, lived together, got tattooed together, we grew up together. He was my bestfriend for years, he became my brother. He was my best man as I was his. I remember when I told Courtney about him. And Dan about Courtney but I said I won't introduce you guys cause you guys are my friends. Lol. It took 6 months before I gave in and 6 months later they were married! Uncle Dan to my kids. They loved him so much always all over him. He was there when all my kids were born. Always at all their events until he joined the Army. I am thankful for his sevice and sacrifices. I have so many memories of Hagee. From hanging out with our other brother from another mother Wade Sanchez getting hammered and tattooed every weekend for like 2 years. Lol. Or balling every weekend with our brother Dave Croopnick every weekend for at least 8 years strait. N.W.O. 4 Life.

I will always remember Dan from when I was in Jr high and he and my brother Jeremy were in high school and Dan would always come over. He was like another brother to me. Even when life drifted us apart and we met back together and I got to meet his wonderful family, it was like old times meeting new times. Once again we must drift apart, but my brother from another mother we will forever and always be in my heart!!

I have known Daniel since I met his mom as we worked together in the 1980's. His mom would have me over for dinner and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her sons, David and Daniel. They were typical teenagers and yet they rallied around their mom's dinner table with their voracious appetites. They were respectful, funny and I fell in love with them as I grew to know them. I haven't seen Daniel in many years now but felt close to him thru his mom. I send my love to his wife Courtney, his sweet daughter Jenna whom I know and love and his dear adorable son, Dan, Jr. I send love and prayers to his mom, my dearest friend for the loss of a most beloved son. I will always be here for her. I also send my love to his brother David as he was Daniel's big brother and I know he will miss him but I pray he will find comfort in the times they shared together. My heart breaks for the Hagee family and I will keep them in my prayers and heart. God Bless ...

Dan was a funny, super sweet person. I remember his going away party at big helens. He was always so jovial and happy, just like Courtney. He will be missed and thought of often, and his family is in our families' hearts forever.
