Roie retired from the military, purchased a home in Puyallup WA and enjoyed retirement with his loving wife, Miriam. It was 2 years filled with bicycling, picnics, BBQ’s, family visits and landscaping our yard. On October 21, 2010 at the strike of noon, God whispered to him to come home again, he peacefully answered, wrapped in the arms of his devoted wife, His task complete, he can rest. It is not “Good-Bye” It is “See you later“. “Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love.
