Obituary of George Walter Lee

Born August 22 1915 in Kansas and passed away on December 02 2010 in Mercer Island Wa. Son of William Edward Lee and Mabel Minerva Jennings.Preceded in death by son Larry Walter Lee and wife Freda Green Lee.,Survived by daughter Karen G. Oster,grandson Bryan Lee Oster and wife Angela ,greatgrandsons Aaron and Chase,granddaughter Jamie Cook and husband Richard greatgranddaughters Lexis and Ellee .George Lee grew up in a family of 4 brothers and 5 sisters ,all in the Seattle area .He was a WWII veteran ,serving in Europe for 2 years. He was a gunner on a B17 and survived many missions..Met Freda Green in England and brought her to Seattle to be his wife in 1947.He was a UW Huskie fan from his highschool days and still thinking of them on his last day .An avid storyteller of WWII and life in the depression .His stories will be missed and all the wisdom of life for 95 years ,Rest in peace Dad, you deserve only the best.With love your family.
