Obituary of Alfred Charles Nelson

Born 8/4/1915 in Tacoma, WA and passed away surrounded by his loving family in Spanaway, WA. Alfred was a very kind and giving person who was very committed to his faith in Christ, family and community. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Rachel; 3 sons, Spencer (Janice) Nelson, Douglas (Sharon) Nelson, Stan (Karen) Barker; daughter, Patricia Nelson; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Jovita Baptist Church, 1120 114th Ave. E., Edgewood, WA 98372. Viewing will be 10 to 11 prior to the service. Interment will follow services at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, WA.
