THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS, WISHES AND LOVE YOU SO KINDLY SHARED WITH JIM AND WITH US ALL. BEING ON THIS ROAD TOGETHER, MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE SACRED.... All of our love backatchya! The Hellman Family -- Jim, Bonnie, John, Cass, Chris and Pumba (the well-fed dog) P.S. I'll bet, in the next realm, Jim's already eating Kung Pao, watching a Mariners game (Wild card!) and chatting away with The Moose! We love you, Jim, and we'll catch up with ya on the flip side!

More Jim.... PART 4 ' John, I am so very sorry for your loss. Too many years fly by so fast and sometimes we let things slide by. I don't really know much about your brother at all. Maybe sometime soon we can get together and you can recall some of your adventures of your younger years with your brother. I'd love to hear them. I have found that it is good therapy to be able to laugh, chuckle or cry while reminiscing. Please take time to heal and remember those memories and special times that you shared with him. He was very fortunate to have you for a brother and you, Cassie for a loving presence in his life.' 'I am so sorry for your loss. You both certainly excel in packing a lot of living into each day and it sounds as if Jim shared that talent. I know that you take comfort in knowing Jim is no longer in pain and is in a better place.' 'So sorry to here about Jim. Your Mom would have been proud of the way you looked after him.No UNO rematch :( .' 'Here's to the memory of the gifted athlete, musician, and scholar. Here's to the memory of that gentlest of Tasmanian Devils: Jim. Thank you for sharing some of his last days with your friends. I'm richer for it. Love and prayers to you and yours.'

More Jim...... PART 3 'Cassie, John, Chris and Bonnie ~ I was saddened to receive your email about Jim's passing. What a difficult time you have all endured. May you and Jim be at peace with his passing. It sounds as if you were blessed with some very private time during this past month. As I have mentioned before you were blessed to have Jim in you lives, but he was equally blessed to have you all in his!' 'So sorry to hear this. I know you're right though...Jim's in a better, more restful space now.' 'I am so sorry to hear about Jim. I am just glad he (and his family) are no longer suffering. He sounds like he was a great guy!' 'Our warmest condolences. You've been an inspiration in the way you've managed to keep such positive thoughts and take lessons from your brother's life and wonderful attitude.' 'I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. You guys have been in our thoughts and in our prayers these past few weeks, even more so than usual. No words can express the feeling loss of a brother, but please know that you are not alone in your grief. ' 'We are thinking of you at this time of mourning and we hope your happy memories of Jim help ease the pain of his passing.'

More Jim comments -- PART 2 'Robert and I will be chanting for your brother may what ever life has in store be painless and full of promise. Buddhism teaches us to perserver to the very end to no matter what the end. And there is always the next time around. Here's a little chocolate mint toast to you and yours.' 'Thank you for sharing with me about it. I was very moved by John's letter to your friends letting them know about Jim's condition. I am glad to know that Jim was such a cared-about member of his care center. The failings and frailities of the human condition, including our bodies, affirm for me that this world is not our home. Please know that you and John and family are in my thoughts.' 'I'm so sorry to hear of your brother, John. Our thoughts are with you. Take care of yourselves, as well...' 'After enduring so many hard things in his life I know Jim will be greeted by a great throng of adoring fans as he leaves this life. It's such a hard transition to contemplate, but we pray for peace for all concerned.'

Other bits you wrote us about Jim... PART 'He is very lucky to have such a nice, loving support system in you all, and I'm sure you have been very fortunate having him in your life.' 'Sorry to hear about Jim. I have always thought he is a very nice and well meaning-guy.' 'We'll be thinking about Jim, whose smile I remember so well from your wedding pictures as he toasted the two of you. We'll be thinking of you all.' 'I expect him to have a tennis rematch with Frank again...!' 'When we come to the edge of the light we know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, of this we can be sure... Either God will provide something solid to stand on or..... we will be taught to fly.' 'What a lovely tribute you've written for your brother. How nice to be part of your family.' 'I just cried when I read this. What an honor to have written in love and admiration for your brother. I pray for your day and the challenges you guys have ahead. I asked God for your measure of grace and more before you even open your eyes.'

As sad is it is to see Jim pass, he is in a better place now. I know how hard it has been to see him go. I am very impressed at the love and compassion that you have shown for him and the hard work that John and Cassie have done in caring for him. Bonnie, I don't know you as well but I'm sure that you have contributed to his care as well. God bless you all. Blake

What an incredibly detailed, thoroughly loving tribute to your brother! Thank you for taking the careful time to construct such a marvelous and moving piece. We not only get a feel for who your brother was in his lifetime, but what his memory will always be. Fun to get a glimpse, too, at all of your lives together.

Bonnie~ You are such a strong person and will undoubtobly get through this, difficult as it may seem right now...My thoughts and prayers are with you always. I love you so so much. Keep remembering that God is with Jim, and he is held in the loving hands of Jesus. Jim will be with you, too, because he and his memories are always resident in your heart and spirit. He was such a wonderful man and there is so much of Jim in you and in your personality! You should always think about the happiest and touching memories of Jim - celebrate his life always and cherish his memories. You are not far from him and, again, he is with you always. Keep love in your heart and remember that you have family in CTGSC that loves you and will always ALWAYS be there for you and will support you. Cancer is an awful, awful thing, but you need to know that everyone has a time and there is no more pain in Jim's life. He is watching over you and loves you. We love you, Bonnie! Keep remembering! ~Hannah and Carol

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Jim, Bonnie is definitely a part of my extended family through the Eclectic Company and CTGSC. My thoughts are with you all at this time.
