Obituary of Rebecca Inez Carter

Born in Trinity, Alabama on December 21, 1941 to parents Charles and Inez Beaird of Vancouver Washington. Rebecca (Becky) lived most of her life residing and raising her two beautiful daughters in Vancouver. On April 28th, 2010, after spending some of her last days with both of her Daughters, The Lord held Rebecca's hand and guided her to a peaceful place in heaven. A loving Mother and Grandmother, she enjoyed the little things in life, especially the beauty of nature and art. As a single mother, she did the best she could to provide the best for her two daughters. Rebecca shared her love and appreciation for nature and art with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed sharing as many special moments as she could with them, she gave them love, and they gave her meaning. On February 18th, 2005 Rebecca married Lloyd E. Carter. Lloyd and Rebecca moved to Rainier, Oregon, then to Olympia, Washington, where they shared four years of their lives together until Lloyd's passing in 2009. Becky had been fighting a long, painful battle with cancer. On Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 the Lord asked if she was ready for peace in heaven, she gracefully said yes, and went with Lord. Becky is now at peace and without pain, set free to enjoy the beauty in Heavens Garden. Rebecca (Beaird) Carter is survived by her two daughters Teresa Hollo of Ridgefield, Washington and Trista Fuller of West Palm Beach, Florida; her four grandchildren Joshua Wheeler, Ashley Hollo, Anthony Schultz, Devan Fuller and four great grandchildren Bailey, Oakley, Brody and Sadie Wheeler; her four siblings Louise Horne, Edward, Bill, and Gene Beaird. A private gathering of close friends and family will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Vancouver, Washington. Please share memories and condolences at www.edwardsmemorial.com
