Born 3/3/1989 in Lakewood, WA to Charles and Florence (Manalo) Leonguerrero and passed away 10/22/2008 in Machitka Pass, Bering Sea, Alaska at the age of 19 fulfilling his passion for fishing.
Joshua enjoyed working on his Nissan “hardbody”, spending time with his family and friends (Primos & Primas), wrestling with his Dad, and especially fishing. He genuinely loved outdoor activities including: hunting, camping, fishing, and hiking. He had a good spirit, always smiling with a big heart; living life to its fullest everyday.
Joshua is survived by his loving parents, Charles (Tanaguan) and Florence (Kala) Leonguerrero; fiancé Sheree Gardinier; two brothers, Charles (Marlena) Leonguerrero Jr., Melvin (Kalani) Leonguerrero; grandparents, Walter and Julia (Kala) Manalo; God son and nephew Joziah Joshua Leonguerrero; niece, Nalani Leonguerrero; and numerous extended family and friends.
The viewing/“Bella” will be held starting at 5PM Thursday 10/30 at Joshua’s grandparents home in Spanaway. Rosary recital will begin at 7PM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated 10:30AM Friday, 10/31 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 14601 A St. South, Spanaway, WA 98387. Rosary will be recited at 10AM before the mass.
