Obituary of Joanne Myrtle Strader

Joanne Strader was born May 29, 1940 in San Francisco California to Marguerite & Robert Strader. Joanne lost her tenacious battle against cancer on April 20, 2006. Joanne, also known as “Pete” enjoyed entertaining everyone she knew with her wit, humor & drama. There was never shortage of laughter when Joanne was present. Joanne will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister & dear friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored & cherished her grandchildren especially. She loved to paint and her talent was evident in all her work. Joanne is survived by her partner & best friend Pershing Freeze, JR. "JR" Her Kitty’s Tazzy & Baby Boy. Her loving Daughters: Dana Leahy & Shelli Beam. Her loving Sons: Tim Smith, Keith Strader, Kurt Strader.; Her Eight Grandchildren: Christopher, Davis, Brad, Tyler, Shane, Jekiah, Nina & Jacob. She is also survived by her loving Sisters & Brothers: Margie & Jim Laviletta, Nola & Bill Bell, Terry Lampshire, Sam & Pam Coulter, George Strader, and Gary Strader. Joanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
