Obituary of Rickey Wayne Knox

Rickey Wayne Knox was born on August 31st 1946 in Lawton Oklahoma to Lavina Knox and Robert Lee Knox who both preceded their son in death. He passed on after a long bout with cancer at the age of 64 on August 21st 2011. After graduating from Orting High School in 1965 Rickey joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968, after a long career which brought him around the world he retired in 1985. After the Air Force he retired from Boeing after 15 years as an aircraft mechanic. Rickey was married to Valerie Knox who preceded her husband in death in 1995. With whom the couple had a son Jeremy Knox and a Grandson Travis Knox who loved his grandfather greatly. In 1997 he married Marilyn Knox who survives her husband and loves and misses him greatly. He is also survived by his three sisters. Oldest sister Kathy Lingley, and her husband Mike and their kids Michael and Mary and also Matthew who was lost to us at an early age. Middle sister Tammy Lewinski and her husband Mark and their two kids Christine and Daniel. and Youngest sister Debra Wiltse and her husband Kevin and their kids Andrew and Mike. Rickey was a caring and loving man whose family loved him very much and he will always be missed.
