Obituary of Janis Louise Cupp

Janis Louise (Carlson) Cupp passed away June 19th surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Terry Cupp children: Jennifer Baxter (Cameron), Tim Cupp (Katie) grandchildren: Alex, Brody & Charli Cupp, CJ & Caleb Baxter. Brothers Joe & Daryl Carlson, sister Jean Quiroz and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Jann was born on March 23, 1950 in Yakima, WA to Maxine and Harry Carlson. She was a 1968 graduate of Davis H.S. in Yakima, attended Yakima Valley College and Pierce College. She retired in 2005 from Franklin Pierce Schools. During her career she served at James Sales, Keithley, Ford, Franklin Pierce and finally at the administrative office. She loved her work and was proud of her career. She was a member of Puyallup United Methodist Church and served there in many capacities. She loved God a good bible or book study and the music during Sunday Services. Prayer was a daily part of her life and she found most comfort from Psalm 143:8. Jann loved the Seahawks and could always be found cheering them on and wearing her Seahawks gear on football Sundays. Please consider joining the family in wearing your Seahawks gear to her memorial service on July 9th at 1 pm. The service will be held at Puyallup United Methodist Church at 1919 W Pioneer, Puyallup, WA.
