Obituary of Danny Cornelius Gibson

Danny C. Gibson Sr. was born in Chicago Illinois, the eldest son of Olrich Sr. and Ruth Gibson. Danny loved the Lord and was saved at the early age of 12 years old, at Bethlehem Healing Temple in Chicago. Danny had many careers during his short time here on earth, and whatever he chose to do he did it well. He was always in Management & Supervision where he displayed leadership qualities. His last place of employment was with Life Force Services, as a Service Coordinator where he was proud of the staff that worked under him. He and his wife Jacqueline moved from Chicago to Tacoma in November 1998, he searched for a church home right away. He attended Orchard Street Church of Christ in Tacoma, WA where he was an active member. Preceding him in death was his Mother Ruth and his Father Olrich Sr., three brothers; David, Douglas and Olrich Jr. (Ricky) He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 39 years Jacqueline, three children Dan Jr., Shelby and Brian. He has eight grandchildren: Timothy Jr. Christopher, Andre, Eric, Bailey, Larnell III (Trey), Alyssa, and Ayden. His Grandmother Viola Davis, two daughter in-laws Marianne & Jessica, two sisters Cynthia & Sheri. Four Brothers: Derrick, Darroll, Duryea, and Dwight. His best friend in Tacoma, WA Sean Jackson, a host of Sister in-laws, Brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.
