Obituary of Ronald Frank MacFarlane

Ronald Frank MacFarlane, 59, of Tacoma, passed away at home with his family nearby on January 1, 2007 after a brave and strong fight with cancer. He was a warm, gentle, unblemished husband and an outstanding and cherished father, who had a genuine gift of the heart. There are not enough words to describe what he meant to us. He was preceded in death by his daughter Veronica Diane Marsh. He is survived by his wife Diane of 35 years, son Ronald (Andrea) MacFarlane, Tacoma, WA, daughters Dani Lynn Jasper, Butte, MT, Davina (Brian) Insko, Tacoma, brother Douglas (Lorraine) MacFarlane, Milton, WA, sisters Sharon MacFarlane, Woodburn, OR, Gloria (Mike) Holmes, Eatonville, WA, son-in-law Michael Marsh, 13 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, other family members, and countless faithful friends. He loved everyone at Northwest Retirement Center. Memorial will be held Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 6511 S. “C” St., Tacoma, WA.
