Justine, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. Kasey, I am sorry for the loss of your best friend and husband. Ted was (and is) a vision of hope for me. Through all of his years of sharing his struggle and survivsl, he taught me the true mesning of hope. Not just through learning the methods of survival, but through the belief that there is something worth surviving for. Ted had a way of looking into your heart and knowing where your pain was. If he could have taken that pain on for us...he would have. I am grateful to have known him. Thank you Justine, Kasey, Trent and on behalf of his children and grandchildren for letting me share a bit of Ted. My life is more the better for knowing Ted.

Roughly 15 years ago I had the pleasure of sharing dinner with Mr. Wright. I was intrigued by this man who, by the end of our meal together, had me considering the notion that our earth is flat. For my every defense, he so skillfully countered with questions, observations, quips, and 'facts' that made me doubt what I THOUGHT I always knew. He really made me THINK. I never forgot that encounter and I'll never forget the man. So charming and witty and different than anyone else I have ever met.

A rare soul such as this can not be confined to a simple physical shell. Dad has gone to join the angels above, and sits with all the enlightened beings who have left this earthly dwelling to sit at the right hand of the Father. May we all live such a life, and may we all touch as many lives as Pop has, as he continues to touch even though he is no longer physically with us. He will always live in my heart. Farewell, kind spirit. I'll see you on the other side.

Ted made a lifelong impression in my familys life and I continue his work in Lancaster letting people know they need to be prepared for any natural disasters and be self-sufficient.YOYO is my slogan for life. I met his wife and Ted in the parking lot of Walmart speaking to the public about earthquake survival and heeded every word he said getting him speaking appearances in my workplace with severly retarted adults in a daycare facility in Lancaster and also my husband schedualed Ted to lecture at his work place H & E in Lancaster on how to servive a quake while at work. He truly was here to create awarness in the average person on how to survive under duress. We will be forever greatful to Ted and his wife for being in that parking lot and reaching out to me with their words that will never be forgotten.BLESS you all.

Thank you all for your kind words about my father. The memorial is this weekend and I hope to meet some of you. Reading all the stories in this guest book touches me deeply. I know when I miss him most and when I want to teach my children what a legacy is, I will turn to this guest book. I had the best father for my 37 years on this planet and still wish for 37 more more. Until we meet again pops.

Uncle Ted I miss you, and I'm sorry. You have been one of the greatest influences on my life. You helped me understand that life is what you make it. You taught me that you can make anything out of some scraps. You taught me that pain and suffering can be the fuel to succeed, and these are but some of the things I have learned being with you. I'm sorry that we didn't talk as much as I would have liked, and I will never forgive myself for not being there. One of my biggest regrets is not showing you what I have done and become. Your influence has everything to do with who I am and what I will become. Everything I do in the future has a bit of your knowledge and life lessons in it. I am so Sorry for not letting you know what you mean to me and I hope that you can forgive me for not being around in the later part of you life. That is one of the biggest burdens on my heart. And I will never forgive myself for it.. Im sorry for not telling you what you meant to me.

Ted Wright...One tough Brit who personified the Greatest Generation. The old War Horse learned life's lessons during the toughest of times and never passed up an opportunity to teach others that doing the right thing was not always easy. I particularly enjoyed Ted's presentations to our NJROTC students at Bremerton High School and I am convinced his positive influence and outlook on life will be treasured by everyone he has talked to over the years. Farewell Old Friend...you will be missed.

John (Ted) Wright came into my life in the late '60's when I was getting a conscientious objector classification from my draft board. His wisdom from his own life, both at war and spiritually, created a bond between us which lasted for all these years even though we were not in consistent contact. He was a mentor and friend and I valued his being there when I was in need. He is one to respect, appreciate, and admire for the way he lived his own life. It is nice to see the adult Justine who is as beautiful as when she was the age of Zoe. We both send our condolences for the loss of his presense and yet know that he is always with us in spirit. He now is truly free of his body. We send our blessings and best wishes. With hugs, Dennis & Elizabeth

Ted was a great man! I will miss him dearly! I can still remember the first thing the office told me before even going to Ted's house; they said 'he is a really neat guy if u get to know. But he is a grumpy one at times too.' After being there one day Ted had me hooked. I never wanted to leave, he taught me so much in just the few months i was there. I just wish i could have known him longer!!!

Our 'paths' crossed with Ted so many years ago. It was a great joy to watch him continue to grow and discover, and to learn from him... At times, he seemed far ahead of his time - - - as though from some other realm. He was a great 'seeker', sharing freely of his knowledge, discoveries, and his time. It was our honor to call him friend. Our condolences Kacey, to you and your family, and to all who knew him. Ted's 'spirit' and teachings will live on... respectfully and with love, Susie & Pat

My Darling: I miss you so very much. You are, and continue to be, such a wonder in my life. I know your journey here was long and difficult, especially these last few years. I also know it was hard for you to stay as long as you did, but I appreciated every second of your presence with me. I only wish I could have done more to ease your pain and situation. I love you forever, my darling! You beloved Kacey
