Obituary of Rita Irene Johnson

Rita Irene Staggs Johnson After a courageous 5 year battle with cancer, Rita went to be with the Lord August 14,2008. Born to Windfred L. Staggs & Ruth E. Lindley Staggs October 14,1940 in Billings, MT . Her family resided in Broadview, MT on the farm until 1946. They then moved to Billings. Where she attended school and met Duane L. Johnson whom she married December 24, 1957. They had three children Richard, Tamala , Jeffrey, five grandchildren & three step grand children one great grand son and two step great grand daughters. In January of 1986 Rita & Duane moved to Gig Harbor, WA where they lived until her death. Rita’s main love after her family was Real Estate which she was until very recently managing broker for Titan Realty in Gig Harbor. Rita was preceded in death by her father & mother. She will be terribly missed by her family & many, many friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Hospice.
